[General Statistics of Visitors to Dibba Al-Hisn Library, 2001]

Abstract

This statistical report presents data on Dibba Al-Hisn Library for the year 2001 through tables and charts documenting visitor activity and patterns of library use throughout the year. It examines the distribution of visitors by gender, nationality, age group, visiting hours, and occupational category, providing a quantitative view of the library’s user community and seasonal fluctuations in attendance. The report also includes internal circulation data arranged by knowledge fields, including general works, philosophy and psychology, religion, social sciences, languages, pure sciences, applied sciences, arts, literature, and history and geography. Its significance lies in documenting indicators of Dibba Al-Hisn Library use at the beginning of the third millennium and offering numerical evidence for studying public library services, analyzing user characteristics, measuring demand for collections, and supporting the planning of library services and activities.
