Abstract

This statistical report presents a set of quantitative indicators related to the Public Libraries Department of Dubai Municipality through tables and charts documenting the use of Dubai public libraries and their services. The material includes data on Internet users in electronic libraries, user distribution by gender, nationality, and time of use, the development of registered membership, and the size of special and reference collections. It also presents indicators on internal and external circulation, library visitors, and catalog use, offering a numerical view of demand for library and information services in Dubai.
