Abstract
The article reviews the fourth and fifth double issue of Bouna Journal for Research and Studies, published by Bouna Publishing and Distribution in Algeria and dedicated to the Algerian thinker Malek Bennabi on the centenary of his birth. It introduces the journal’s scholarly orientation and its interest in heritage, literary, and linguistic studies, then outlines the structure of the special issue and its main sections on Bennabi’s life, thought, methodology, and civilizational project. The article highlights several contributing scholars and the themes of their studies, particularly reform philosophy, the concept of civilization, civilizational conflict, Islam and the West, and the prospects of renaissance in contemporary Islamic thought.
