Abstract

Al-Rafid Index (2006), Twelfth Year is a bibliographic tool documenting the materials published in Al-Rafid magazine during 2006 and facilitating access to them through multiple entry points. The index consists of three main sections: a title index, a subject index, and an author index, enabling retrieval by article title, topic, and contributor name. Its significance lies in supporting bibliographic control of the magazine’s cultural output, enhancing research and library access to its contents, and documenting part of the cultural production issued under the Department of Culture and Information in Sharjah. The index also reflects the role of libraries in organizing local intellectual output and making it accessible to researchers and readers through structured retrieval tools.
