Abstract

Al-Rafid Index for the Fourteenth Year, 2008 provides an organized bibliographic tool for identifying and accessing the materials published in Al-Rafid magazine during 2008. The index includes a title index listing published items with issue, date, and page references; a subject index that groups materials under relevant subject headings; and an author index that enables access through the names of contributors. The introductory page explains the indexing method, noting that titles and subject headings are arranged alphabetically and that direct access points were added to connect keywords and topics with authors, translators, critics, editors, photographers, and sources.
