It covers essential aspects such as manuscript structure, formatting, citation requirements, and submission protocols. By following these instructions, authors contribute to a seamless review and publication process, ensuring that their research reaches its audience effectively.
Author's Guide
- General Formatting
- Paper Size: A4 (21 x 29.7 cm).
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Line Spacing: Double-spacing throughout, including references.
- Font:
- Use Times New Roman for English
- Use Simplified Arabic for Arabic
- DESCRIPTION FONT FORMAT
- Title: Bold, size 28
- Heading: Bold, size 20
- Sub-Heading: Italic, size 16
- Body: Regular, size 12
- References: Regular, size 12
- Alignment: Left-aligned text for English, Right-Aligned text for Arabic; do not justify lines.
- Other considerations:
- Arabic texts without diacritics.
- Number pages consecutively in the upper-right corner.
- Manuscript Structure
- Title Page:
- Title of the manuscript (bold, centered).
- Author name(s), affiliation(s), and email address(es).
- Word count (excluding references and appendices).
- Abstract:
- Provide an abstract of no more than 150 words.
- Include 3–5 keywords relevant to the study.
- Main Body:
- Empirical Research Articles:
- Follow the IMRAD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion).
- Include subheadings as needed for clarity, formatted according to APA guidelines.
- Follow APA (7th edition) formatting for all cited sources.
- Figures and Tables:
- Number sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1).
- Include titles and descriptions directly above tables and figures.
- Tables and figures should be referenced in the text (e.g., "as seen in Table 2").
- Review Articles:
- Adopt a structured format comprising the following sections: Introduction, Methodology (if applicable), Body, Critical Analysis or Synthesis, Conclusion and References.
- Book Review:
- Adhere to a structured format consisting of the following sections: Introduction, Summary of Content, Critical Evaluation, Conclusion, and References (if applicable).
- Empirical Research Articles:
- Title Page:
- Length
- Word Count:
- Research Articles: 6,000 – 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
- Review Articles: 6,000 words for narrative or thematic reviews, and 6,000 – 8,000 words for systematic review.
- Short Communications: 3,000 – 4,000 words.
- Book Reviews: 4,000–6,000 words.
- All word counts include text, references, and footnotes but exclude appendices.
- Word Count:
- Referencing and Citation (APA Style, 7th Edition)
- In-Text Citations:
- Use the author-date format (e.g., Smith, 2020).
- For direct quotes, include page numbers (e.g., Smith, 2020, p. 15).
- Reference List:
- Include only works cited in the manuscript.
- List entries alphabetically by the last name of the first author.
- Use hanging indentation (0.5 inches).

- In-Text Citations:
